I have to admit I had been at a loss from where you know the names of these cute little animals. Until now I believed that Beatrix Potter is one of the cross stitch designers. But I got curious and started to google for her, and I found the stories! And read some of them! Jemima, and the one about the little squirels, and Peter the Rabbit...
They are so cute! I am so happy to have found them. Thank you all for this wonderful experience.

The other wonderful thing about her book is many of the animals and places in her books are real-life based, you can go to Gloucester and go inside the shop illustrated in her book, The Tailor of Gloucester, and buy the book in there, truly wonderful

They are lovely stories and that is partly what has made this such a pleasure to work on. Agi, My favourite story is Miss Moppett. I think my Mum knew it off by heart when I was a child because I always wanted her to read it to me

I still have The Tale Of Johnny Town-Mouse, from W.Heffer & Sons Ltd, in Cambridge 3/6 three shillings and sixpence, that is just over 17p in today money, back when I treated myself to the book it would have been 7 weeks pocket money
