I have to admit I had been at a loss from where you know the names of these cute little animals. Until now I believed that Beatrix Potter is one of the cross stitch designers. But I got curious and started to google for her, and I found the stories! And read some of them! Jemima, and the one about the little squirels, and Peter the Rabbit...

They are so cute! I am so happy to have found them. Thank you all for this wonderful experience.

They are wonderful Agi :D
The other wonderful thing about her book is many of the animals and places in her books are real-life based, you can go to Gloucester and go inside the shop illustrated in her book, The Tailor of Gloucester, and buy the book in there, truly wonderful :D

They are lovely stories and that is partly what has made this such a pleasure to work on. Agi, My favourite story is Miss Moppett. I think my Mum knew it off by heart when I was a child because I always wanted her to read it to me :)

I still have The Tale Of Johnny Town-Mouse, from W.Heffer & Sons Ltd, in Cambridge 3/6 three shillings and sixpence, that is just over 17p in today money, back when I treated myself to the book it would have been 7 weeks pocket money :lol:
Timmy Willie is my favorite from the Beatrix Potter stories :D
