Are the gaps "filled in" with lots of specialty stitches?

They sure are Carole. There are rice stitches and Rhodes stitches in the arches which should look like stone blocks when they're done, plus more Rhodes stitches and eyelets for the flowers, plus weaving to look like a little fence along the bottom. Can't wait

Yes Dana. It's 32 count antique white linen The light here is so dull at the moment that it's hard to tell what the right colours of anything are!!

I finished part 4 of this one last night!!

I just love the dandelion clock
It's nice to see it the right way up too, as it's a side arch so I've been stitching it sideways!
A hint for anyone who is thinking of stitching this one, for the little woven fence at the bottom, Martina says to stitch the uprights first, then do the weaving, then do the 2 eyelets last of all. I did it in this order for the last part and had a terrible job trying to find the hole for the eyelet underneath the long upright stitch. For this part I did the eyelets first, then did the uprights and finished off with the weaving and it was so much easier.
I may do a bit of Rhyme and Reason next, as the 3 projects I'm doing at the moment (Herbularius, Fleur de Lys and Mabel's Floral Lace) are all 'repeaters', that is the same design is repeated a few times. I think I need to 'make a picture' for a bit
