I just love this so much even though it does make me sad at times. My son loved all the Disney movies and I had collected all of them up until he was killed at the age of 14 by a flatbed that ran a red light. I then got rid of all of the movies that I had collected because I couldn't bear to have them around. Now I wish I would have kept them to pass on to grandchildren. This piece is just amazing and many times I go back through the posts to see all the lovelies on it. Okay I'm rambling on as usual lol I know that I truly appreciate that you have shared this with us.

:applesauce: :applesauce: I love the castle and the fireworks. A perfect design as it is so "Disney"
I agree with the others that you should keep it for at least a while before deciding if you want to donate it somewhere. I would think that you have a lot of memories tied up with this piece. Enjoy it for a good long while!

You don't like Frozone? lol was it the nagging wife? This is by far the coolest project ever... I'm going to be a bit sad when it's completed too :/ but think of the accomplishment you're near to completing! Walt Disney himself would be proud I'd wager!

No not at all. It's not a hard pattern, just an emotional one for me. If you have read my pervious posts you'll know why. I wasn't going to put it on there at all.

I can only do around 10 or so stitches a day. It's full of mistakes, I've counted wrong in so many places. Not easy to stitch while your crying or thinking of the person who loved this movie so much. But it fits perfect with the other prices near it, so thought I'd stitch it.

I've given away what I'm stitching now so....

It looks great so far. Even though this is a hard thing to stitch, I hope that it will help you cope with your loss.

It's looking great, even if it has been difficult to get through. It's going to be amazing to see this piece finished, but also a little bittersweet for all of us that have been following along as you put it together. What an accomplishment it will be!
