Thanks, everyone!
I think I'm going to call him 'The Woeful Dragon' rather than the Fljotsdale dragon, though! He looks so sad! Plus, 'woeful' can mean he's a 'bringer of woe' - and that flame looks like a bringer of woe, doesn't it?!

Wow. This is a fantstic design. The details and shading are amazing. This has made me start looking at Dragon charts, but I can't find anything as beautiful! I've got a huge "to do" pile already as well!

Uh... this one was charted specially for me by Mr Xstitch. It is the pic from the cover of a book about Dragons, and Mr Xstitch very kindly offered to chart it for me when he realised how keen I was to stitch it. I'd had the photocopy for years, lovingly laid flat, and covered in clean linen, on the bottom of my blanket chest (which doesn't hold blankets but all sorts of other things!) I was thinking I'd have to get the pic framed, and forget about stitching it - then Mr Xstitch played fairy godfather!

That's so very nice of Mr. Xstitch to do that for you--and I hope that your dragon stitches up as easily as possible--it's really coming along so nicely

Well, it's been a while, cos of being busy doing Christmas stuff, but I'm back with this again - and I've actually completed a whole page!

(that's not including the flame, which is on a different page).
I'm now working on the page with the flame on it, stitching his forequarters - but I've only done about 9 rows of that over the past couple of days. Pic when I've completed that page. Or sooner, if I feel like it.
The uneven stitches on the left is where I've gone over into the next page on that side.
