Wow she looks beautiful!!!! And now that her face is done she can watch you finish the rest of her body. I try to work the faces first or at the beginning so they can help me watch the rest grow.

Silly I know but that is me.

Yes I know exactly what you mean, it wasn't until I took a break from it and had another look while I was stitching that I realised suddenly she had eyebrows!!!!!

I don't think I'd have the patience to complete a HAED, but I LOOOVE seeing the progress pics.
Keep up the great work!!

Here we are again...

just a page off finishing row 2 (page 18!) In the end there didn't feel like there was that much confetti (her skin) compared to the size of the background area! I like doing the edges where the black leaves are, it's the plain red background that is a bit more of a chore
But (I am thinking) once I get even further down to where her dress billows out it'll mean less background

lol
Still really enjoying it though!! (this is why I stress to anyone thinking of a HAED that you have to really really really love the artwork!) And I only have out the page I'm working on, I keep the rest of the big pile shut away in my stitching box
Once I've finished this (maybe this time next year??!!) I'm pretty sure I won't ever want to see DMC 154 or 814 ever again!
Oh yes, please don't look at the dodgy 70's lino on my kitchen floor

I stitch rather than decorate!
