i've made up the time wasted on the frog blip, and carried on with the green up the lefthand side until.....i ran out of a colour, typical. I've ordered it online this time, hopefully it'll come tomorrow.

The bottom half is finished, yay; its been a long haul. All the threads i ordered the other day turned up yesterday, i've since run out of another 2 greens. I popped into our local shoppe yesterday morning, and the shopkeepers twirly stand is even emptier. She's telling all her customers she's called it quits with DMC. She sounds like she's had enough altogether, i won't be surprised if the shop is shut down soon, after 20 years. It gets pretty busy in there as a rule, and everyone's leaving empty handed at the mo. Thats not a nice thing to see. That'll leave us with 0 embroidery shops.
There's a new Hobbycraft branch opening a couple of streets away from her too. I'd never heard of it, i looked up their website; they're all kiddies sticky messy stuff and card making stuff with a little bit of sewing stuff.
I've ordered the greens from sew & so as usual, probably be here tomorrow, then i can get on with the top half.
