Another update - nearly there with this page! There's quite a large area of Kreinik to do in the area left so I'll get an idea of what it looks like with more than a couple of stitches together, then I can compare it to the Madeira blending filament I'm thinking of using for the Mermaids.

I love the colours in this one and it's great to see the balloon taking shape. Looking forward to the sparkly kreinik section :D

I love the sky and how the texture of the stitching shows up - very neat by the way! Will also be interested to see what the Kreinik looks like in a bigger area too.

Looking great! Love the colors. Never worked with kreinik before, would love to hear from your experiences. As I am about to embark on HAED projects, I'm sure I will come across some Kreinik. If I felt hesitant about using the Kreinik, is there something I can substitute it with? That isn't hard to work with like regular DMC threads, or silk DMC?
