I'm off to the cottage for a few weeks, so thought I'd do an update before I go. This way we can see how much I get done while I'm away.

Pretty!!! I have found that I love to stitch butterflies. The colors are fun and it is neat to watch them grow in front of you!

Not as much progress on the butterflies as I'd hoped during the cottage stitch-a-thon. Just a little bit more background is completed.



But ... I did manage to finally finish my Twilight Angel:



And I did get some work done on my pixie too!!

My friend had her baby, a gorgeous little girl!! So I have finished the Lizzie*Kate baby announcement I started for her earlier in the summer. It should have taken a single evening to finish, but with my hand all buggered up, it took a few days instead. I'm just happy I got it done! Tomorrow it's off to Michael's to find a frame for it.



It really is a softer, prettier green fabric in person, but the lighting in my apartment seems to muck it up for photos.
