Boy it's been awhile since I've updated. Here is my blog so you can see what all I've been stitching.

Update: Good Neighbors by Paula Vaughan

I left it in the car and forgot to shut my sunroof on nite and it rained. My needle left a big of rust stain right in the middle of where I need to stitch next. So I have restarted 'Good Neighbor's' by Paula Vaughan but on 28 count fabric, doing 2 over 2. This is my first time using something other than aida and a smaller count fabric. I have to say I am LOVING it. It's going very fast, faster it seems than when stitching 1 over 1 on aida. I will include some pictures of the new Good Neighbors even tho it's posted on my blog as well.

On the Good Neighbor's project, I stitched a new personal record for myself for number of stitches completed in on day. I got 1000 (plus a few extra) done in a day. It felt great because I accomplished other things that day too, not just stitching...

I am starting to get frustrated with my inability to finish projects. I do have ADHD and that plays into it quite a bit but there are just SOOO many patterns and I want to stitch them all!

It seems to be going so much faster than 1 over 1 which I usually do. This is my first try at 2 over 2. Thinking I'll do every project as 2 over 2 from now on if it goes this fast...LOL

I am having an awful time with the frog on this next part. I do fine till I get to the diagonal 1/4 stitches on the roof line of the dormer window. I've stitched it 3x now. Its confusing me...LOL...I usually start in the left corner of a 10x10 square and do the first color in that square, then the 2nd, etc. I left the white for last this time and really hoping I did it right. If not I will be very frustrated! That's why this next row/update is taking so long...blah...I am stubborn and WILL NOT give up.

After the THIRD try I finally got it to match up and I can move onto the next 100 stitches. What a pain in my side. All for some diagonal 1/4 stitches, in white. I have never done 1/4 stitches like that on 2 over 2 so was a challenge for me. Here's the update pics...

Thanks, thought the struggle was worth pictures earned when I finally did it right! I'm also working on putting my thread onto bobbins. I'm doing 10 right now, have 5 done. I was known as the girl who would spend an hour looking for thread in all of her plastic grocery sacks...haha...I'm finally getting them organized 10 at a time.
