:applesauce: I think the bookmark is very cute. And you have ALL MY EMPATHY ABOUT THE DENTIST. I shouldn't hate them as my favorite uncle was a dentist, but I am PETRIFIED of dentists which is really bad because I need a lot of work done, but if it doesn't hurt I won't go. So glad you are done and can get back to stitching now. Looking forward to your next updates.

Kjers, I sympathise about the dentist *shudders*
The bookmark has come out fine! The stuff you used (I know it as Vlieseline in Dutch) is known as Vilene in English, or if it's a different brand, it's known as iron-on interfacing.
Agi, lovely folk designs on those scissor fobs!

My husband loved LOVED that silly duck hunting game. He wasn't much for computer games but that one he could spend a lot of time on. That silly dog. What great mini projects you did. I have a friend whose husband would go nuts for the Leg Lamp as Christmas Story is his favorite. Do you mind sharing where you got the pattern? I think she would love to have it.

Lots of great work here!

This is a birthday card for a 13 year old boy. It's a Native American birth totem, an otter, for January 20 to February 18. It's from Lesley Teare's book, 'Fantasy Cross Stitch'.

Hope he finds it interesting. Teenage boys are so hard to stitch for!

I got help with the pattern on Sprite Stitch. Spinuntilyoufall charted the original pattern, and I used graph paper to change it to the way I wanted it. (I'm "Mom-mii" over there LOL). Here's the link to the thread with the original and pictures of my graph paper.

Is it okay to download the pdf or is it copyrighted? What an interesting website that is.

The pattern isn't copyrighted; we worked on it and posted it for anyone who wanted to stitch it. The pdf at the end of the thread is one where I scanned in the graphed pattern that I drew.

Thank you. I think I will download it and send it to my friend. If she has a whole year she will probably get it done. She used to cross stitch a lot and has talked about restarting but hasn't. I'm hoping this will give you some incentive.

The pattern is a little different from the finished piece; as I went along sewing, I changed a few things here and there. (for example, the tassels)
