I shall take note of your comment on the backstitch. I may do mine in the medium green as my light green isn't showing up too well either.

I'm posting on this thread again because while I have made some progress today on my Papillon SAL, I am still only half way through pt 3. I decided to do the cutwork on this petal and I have been putting it off because I have been under the weather for a couple of weeks on and off. I would have cried if I'd cut the wrong bits
Anyway, here is my progress today. I enjoyed stitching the plaited fly stitch ( the very pale pink stitches either side of my cutwork) so much I got carried away and had to unpick the extra ones I stitched

Lovely. Your hardanger stitches are perfect too. That is very brave on your part. I have no plans to do any cutting whenever I get to mine. I do love your colors too. Can't wait to see the next update.

It's looking gorgeous! I'm doing the uncut version so mine doesn't have that particular stitch to get carried away with but I know what you mean.

Beautiful cutwork Lesley It's always a little nervy to cut isn't it? That looks super though, especially with your delicate colours.

By the way for all other Papillon SAL stitchers, Part 4 is now out Looks like it's got some really fun stitches in it too
