Very beautiful!!! Congrats on finishing the giraffe!!!

I like your idea of making the huts a reward for finishing a landscape panel. And thanks for the heads-up that the landscapes take time to stitch.

Did you have much trouble with the white backstitching on the giraffe? I haven't gotten that far yet, but I've read that other have said that it's hard to get to look good.

Cat, while I'm not 100% happy with the way the backstitching looks on the Giraffe's spots, I am ok with it. It was a bit difficult to do as I'm working on 32 count fabric, so getting a half of a backstitch to show up was not easy. I did use a more beige color to do mine though than the b5200 that Martina had - I didn't care for the bright white so much...
