Great progress on the stitching front and oh so close to the finish line. I pray that the tendonitis is soon healed completely letting you finish this wondrous keep sake.

Gosh they have grown up haven't they - so lovely to see them as they are now. Thanks for sharing.

Well can't quite believe it, but tow and half years later, move to Spain and a few months of not being able to stitch, I am so happy (and sad as I won't be stitching their beautiful faces anymore) that it's finished. So happy with how it's turned out. Thank you again to Donna for doing the conversion. Mucho mucho gracias.

Totally wonderful. So well done on the finish, it will be a family heirloom now, deservedly so.

What a finish!
You must be chuffed to bits. It is a great keepsake, and likely to last longer than photos.

Make sure you write in pencil or archival ink on the back of the frame who they are, when they were born and when/where the photo was taken. That way in 2-300 years your descendants can see what their ancestors looked like. It is a real heirloom you've made.

Brilliant.

Regards,

Richard.

I agree with Richard.
I agree also. Any information that you can reasonably write or attach to the back of the frame will make it that much more special for those in the future!

Well done on a superb finish. You have really caught the essence of your grandchildren in this piece.
I concur with Richard's advice about noting the details - please do that & remember to include "stitched by" details too.
You have captured a moment in time that can be retained for many generations to come,
Congratulations :balloons: :balloons:

Congratulations on the finish. And I am sure after 2 1/2 years you must think they look so young in this picture now.
