It's going to be like one of those glass cabinets full of butterflies, only for this one don't have to kill them, just stitch and enjoy them! (Much better)

I've done new ones and added some techniques and embellishments on them...

First one is "Count Your Blessings" which is a Marie Barber design and was xstitched with crayon tinting technique to add some shading on the background area....

....and finished and framed!

Second one is "Love and Believe" which is also a Marie Barber design intended for Valentine's day...and xstitched with added embellishments...

...with heart and flower charms...

...and another variation with ribbon border and a heart charm...

Hope you all like them as much as I've enjoyed xstitching them! :)

The crayon tinting really enhances the house design, Charmagne, and you've been so creative with the other designs too!

Love this idea and would not have tried it myself as I would have thought that the crayon would come off on your hands and be transferred when you were stitching. Did you use anything to seal the crayoning or is it better to work with than I think?

You are so inventive and artistic.

These are lovely projects Mayne. Very creative. I love them all, but especially the ribbon border and heart charm one - the embellishments really finish it so well.
