Agi, believe it or not, the main colours of Trojan's head are as follows:-

3743 (lilac)
3746 (purple)
791 and 796 (royal blues)
And then a number of different greys with just an odd bit of black here and there.

When I started stitching him, I was a bit doubtful about the colours, but looking at it from a distance, it actually looks just as if he's sitting there with the sun on him. He's such a deep velvety black in real life that he does look a bit blueish in bright light.

I know just what you mean about colours Sarah. It's the same on my dogs project, the most strangest of colours, but now you can step back and actually see it blends perfectly. Nic assured me this would be the case and she's right.

Another update! There's only a narrow strip down the right hand side to do now, probably about two inches wide all the way down, so I'll finish that in December's UFO week.
