Just bumping this up as I have finally started stitching again. I had visions of coming home from hospital after the chemo and sitting sewing all day for the two weeks between treatment cycles BUT it hasn't worked out like that as I haven't felt well enough to sit up and stitch until the last couple of days.
I have done a bit more since I last took a photo so will go downstairs and take a picture now to show you all later!

The good thing about stitching is it's always there waiting patiently when you're able to get back to it... Do you know how many bouts of chemo you'll need?

I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. I know that is a part of the treatment as many friends have told me how terrible they feel afterwards. Be sure to rest and get yourself better and we will wait for any updates you can give us.

ok so here is the promised picture.
Confetti heaven!!!!
I am hopefully only having two cycles of chemo so the next should be my last. Then it is surgery. A very big operation which I have been told will take several months to recover from plus mean a whole new way of eating. As long as I can still stitch...

Beautiful!! Very pretty!!
Hoping that the next round of chemo won't be quite as bad and that the upcoming surgery will be most successful

I have a dilemma that I hope you lovely people will help me with.
This large HAED was what I was working on when I first was diagnosed a year ago. I was doing it as a model for Colray Crafts and still have a long way to go although I have already done quite a lt of pages. Carole from Colray has been lovely and says if I can't finish it not to worry, or I can keep it for myself for something to do or I can finish it and send it back.
When I first came out of hospital I couldn't do it but now I probably could. I don't want the pressure of doing it as a model to send back, but if I were going to stitch it for myself I would rather be doing something more to my taste.
So what do I do with it. I hate having it hanging around coz I feel I ought to be stitching it but I can't bring myself to throw it away..,..any suggestions?
