Cushion stitches done. I used 1 strand DMC Satin 415. Working with the satin for the first time, it wasn't too bad. Much easier than working with metallics but it did fray at the end and it's a bit springy.

That looks awesome!! You really are brave to try the satin thread on the metallic but the result is just wonderful! I may have to stitch up another one of the TOS sometime and use a theme more like you've chosen! I love it!!

Wow! Your tree is blingtastic! Love the fabby and colours you have chosen, it's amazing how different it looks from the other Trees being stitched.

Two more stitches done. Jerusalem and Floral. Is it too narcissistic to say I'm loving loving my tree?

Not just the look but I'm having a lot of fun stitching it up!
EDIT: Jerusalem stitches were done on Anchor 1040, and Floral in DMC 159 and 3841, the same colors I used on my eyelets.

I think it's ok to love your tree.. I love it too! It's gorgeous! The colors you chose give it a wonderful winter look... like snowflakes are covering the tree instread of leaves

Beautiful!! As others have said it's as if there's snow on the trees, but also shadows and light, very nice look! I'm still working on the rice stitch part.
