Thanks, everyone!
I know this doesn't look like much progress from my last update, but I have now filled in all the confetti 'splash' stitches in the areas already stitched:

Close up of confetti in the darker area.

Sorry the photo quality isn't up to much. I WILL keep using camera without stand, and my hands are not rock-steady!

Thanks, everyone.

Another update in a couple of days, hopefully - but I have youngest grandson for most of weekend, and 8yr olds are not conducive to sewing!

Hope this isn't too wide! Managed to get more stitching done than I thought I would.

Had some 6-strand to do - the rest of the blue area - and it seemed a bit easier than before. Guess what? I checked and I
have developed calluses on my forefinger and thumb!

No wonder it was easier to do! I didn't really believe I would when I said it earlier, but I have.

I am overwhelmed by your being able to do 6 strands for one xstitch. But the effect is really amazing and this is so well done. He is so majestic. Great update.

Carol, apart from the tiger himself, which is normal 2-strand X-stitch, the rest is tent stitch /. I think I would be heroic doing 6-strand X-stitch - or mad!
Another update soon - I want to at least get a few stitches at the bottom left corner first!

tent stitch makes a bit more sense. still, that is a lot to do for a tent stitch. Looking forward to the next update.

Thanks, Carole!

And here it is:
I just
had to get to the bottom left corner! It's funny, but it makes me feel closer to completion, somehow.
