I purchased a previous lot of evenweave from VeryCrafty but as Serinde says it is on their website any more. I was actually checking if they had any new Wrendale kits which of course I would not be tempted to buy .

Time for some honesty: I've been bidding on another TW cross stitch kit The Enchanter Clearly the prices of them have gone up because it went for twice what I was willing to pay.

With the cost of living rises I would have thought people were cutting back but over £70 for that kit

I will admit I mistakenly brought another TW kit this morning There was a Romeo and Juliet up for a starting price of £15 so I thought why not the blue evenweave is what the Enchanter needs and the threads will go a long way towards it. Ending an auction mid Saturday morning was probably not a good time for people to remember to bid on it and I was the only bidder

Supplies have been ordered for the new kit - Lakeside Needlecraft's parcel hasn't arrived yet but the threads I ordered yesterday from the wholesaler arrived today . Anyway, I have small amounts of all the things I ordered in my stash so can start putting a couple of kits together; the booklets have been printed, but the box labels are being a bit slow. And Christmas is fast approaching!

I'm a Bad Girl My new year resolution was not to buy myself any cross stitch kits and finally .... I failed This is the Secondhand kit I won last Saturday on Fleabay:



I've gone through it and one of the coloured threads is missing but other than that its ok The chart is a bit confusing as it does not have a grid on it


I wonder if I made next years resolution to be to lose weight if it would last as long

I gave up on New Year's resolutions long ago. The only one I've been able to keep is to not make any more New Year's resolutions.

I bought some yarn at the local farmer’s market here in Falls Church, VA. It’s 100% Targhee sheep wool from a farm in York, PA. I fell in love with the color, and the lady who sold it to me said she calls it TARDIS blue. Definitely! My plan is to make it into a beanie.
