Lovely progress, Fljotsdale! The border is coming along fantastic and I can see the dragon forming! You're doing great inspite the difficulties with the linen!

I was lucky enough to pick up a large piece (and I do mean large!) of a lovely even, non-slubby (well, relatively) 36ct linen when my LNS closed down, which is very nice to use, and I bought some burgundy 28ct linen from Fabric Flair at the Stitch and Craft show last year -- but it's one of the few stitching supplies I really don't like buying over the internet.
No, I don't think I'll buy linen again unless I can actually see and unroll it first! I envy you your nice piece of even linen!
I think in future it will be evenweave and aida for me!
The dragon's hand was the hardest to do - lots of intricate little quarter stitches, and I'm still not totally sure I have it all correctly; the backstitching will reveal all!

One of the advantages of my comp not working for a few days was that I got more stitching done! I think it's beginning to look like a real picture now.
...although I still can't manage a nice sharp focus with the darn camera!
