Are you a savory or sweet kind of person

I love to eat savoury but for some strange reason I can always find time for chocs.

depends on the time of the month but generally (like you) savoury with room for chocolate

Which type of stitching that you haven't tried before would you like to try?

I'm desperate to try Blackwork, but I also really want to have a go at hardanger at some point as well.



Love metallics /hate metallics?

Love metallics because they add another dimension to stitching projects.

What's your favourite song?

Time of your Life by Green Day. We played it at our wedding, it was sort of our wedding dance (if you can call what we were doing "dancing").

What is your favourite time of day?

Bedtime! There's nothing like the first few moments of getting under the duvet and getting really warm and snug with a book and a cup of tea each night.

Where would you most like to visit in the world?

I would like to visit Alaska and New Zealand

What flavour food do you prepefer eg mexican/Italian/Greek

My favourites are Chinese & Italian, depending on my mood!

Do you believe/go along with horoscopes for personality traits etc? (I do!)

I don't believe in horoscopes, numerology, or chinese astrology. But I do read my horoscope 2-3 days a week. Most of the time they are so generic and vague they would work for anyone but every once in a while it is suprising how spot on it can be.

Do you wear glasses or contacts or are you lucky enough not to need either?

I do but don't need glasses... make sense? haha I have astigmatism, but it only effects me when I'm out in the sun..but sunglasses work just as well as prescription glasses! I have contacts as well but it just messes my vision up more than helps. I do use 1.00 reading glasses for cross-stitching because I don't want to strain my eyes...

What is the weather like for you today?

It's been torrential rain, then it's got out sunshine and blue skies but now clouding right over again.


More comfy in Skirt or trousers?

If I'm at home or doing the shopping or something I like jogging bottoms, but I always wear a skirt at work, just because I'm more comfortable in them.


Here's a good one - if it's going to rain, why does it onyl start at 4pm in Scunthorpe, 30 minutes before I leave work so I get soaked cycling home???

Oh yes I love it!!!!!
What is your favourite flower?

Freesias, but I also love daffodils, the tiny ones especially.


Chocolate cake or fruit cake?

Chocolate cake (although truly? Angelfood!) But I'll leave my piece of choccy cake for you, TB.

Beards (tidy, not talking ZZ Top here!) or clean shaven?

Clean shaven... one of the reasons why I like military men

Pontiac G6 and I love it. Very favorite car I have ever owned.



Do you wash your own car or take it to a car wash???

I used to wash my car by hand- but where I live now has a really high iron count so we get spots on the windows so I take it into get washed. And during the summer, I take it to one of the places that will vaccuum while its getting washed-- oooh fancy!

Table, chairs, filing cabinet, TV, Wii etc ... (I'm in the 'schoolroom').
