Looks great!!
I just got my fabric, frame and threads. now to jut begin.
Can I ask you one question as I have never worked with Carries Thread. Did you do each circle individually or did you stitch the pattern straight across?

i have never worked with the threads or this pattern but my guess is that you work in a path.
i do know that it is important to work the full xs when using varied thread rather than a row or series of /// and then coming back with \\\\. by doing the latter, you lose the benefit of the varigation.

Re: Cirque des Cercles updated Jan-20
Hmmm never thought I would need to do each stitch separately. I guess that makes sense. I'm working a smaller designe using DMC varigated thread but it's such a small varigation that I'm going across in rows rather than separate stitches. I will have to rethink this with the Carries Threads, you definitely can see the variations in that. Thanks for the tip.nikecam wrote:i have never worked with the threads or this pattern but my guess is that you work in a path.

I did the pattern circle by circle, made it easy to keep track of where I was in the pattern. And yup each stitch is worked as a full x before you do the next one.
Re: Cirque des Cercles updated Jan-20
That looks stunning

Made some more progress this weekend. Now I'm beginning to wonder what to do with it when it's done, whether to frame it, or to make it into something else?
