It's good you could do a little bit at least. I hope he will soon be better.

Sorry for the lack of update last week, I got so little done that there was honestly no point. The good news is that dad is home and feeling much better now, and I think the week actually had a good effect in that it brought the two of us closer together. We spent a lot more time together than we usually would (and ran out of things to talk about in the process!) but it was really good because it meant we did talk a lot and after the first two or three days talking about shallow and unimportant things we managed to reconnect on the level of shared interests like literature and for the first time ever I was able to recommend, and then lend, books to him!
I don't usually digress quite that much, sorry. Update photo
This might progress a little slower I'm afraid because a couple of friends of mine are getting married in October, so I'm going to stitch them a wedding sampler. Having asked Mal for over a month to choose a design, I asked Katy to have a look and find one she liked. Less than two hours later, she'd chosen one. Next time I need them to make a decision, I know who to ask! I'm intending to work on both of them by doing alternate days on each until the wedding sampler is done.
WIPs:
Snow Princess and the Polar Bear HAED
Plans:
Twinkle twinkle cushion for nephew's third birthday (September 2015)
Man U crests for husband and brother-in-law
