A very cheerful "Good Morning" in English from the post girl who usually has quite a down turned face. She brought me 67 lace bobbins that I bought from e-bay. Not that I will be able to start to learn yet but we have to be prepared to buy stash as and when we see it (or am I wrong).

My tandem cottage order came today

I got all the floss I need for my joint drawn thread SAL with Serinde, some fabric and the little 6" R&R frame (like Q-snaps) which is very cute!

Yes, but in the wrong country
The overdyed Soie d'Alger were delivered to my Mum's yesterday, and today or tomorrow she'll probably receive the Carrie's Thread cottons which I bought with my voucher

.
Now all I have to do is wait until April 1st when she comes and visits again...

Oh CC that's such a shame -- did they say in the description that all the threads were silk? Because that wuld be misleading information and i think you have a right to your money back then, eBay would certainly want to know about a seller doing that

Sorry to hear that CC. Showing my age

I can remember floss used to be referred to as 'silks', perhaps this is what has happened.

CC I am sorry you have not got what you expected, so disappointing. I have looked at these and they do say 100% pure silk, perhaps you should at least email the seller as surely that is wrong.

i contacted the seller. he has asked for two days so he can contact his supplier and find the cause of the problem.

I'd definately Email the seller Cc and see what they have to say about it.
I had a wonderful post today.
Rosemary kindly sent me some lovely fabrics, some cardboard bobbins (which I really needed) and a keyring!
Thank you SO much Rosemary, it's wonderful of you.

I have finally received the book that Nettie sent to me. Fabric and Needlecraft project book. It's lovely, thank you, Nettie!
There was a note in the postbox when I got home today which said "parcel", I have to go and collect it at the post office tomorrow. I don't know what it can be - the only thing I am expecting is the ATC card - but surely it is not as big as a "parcel"?
