Great UFO work everyone :applesauce:
Mine never got started because my FIL is now very poorly and my stitching is low priority at the moment...still it is there for me to come back to.

I failed at UFO week. I went to Joanne to pick up the rest of the floss for my HAED, and ended up buying a mini-kit from Bucilla that I worked on that instead of what I was supposed to be doing. Oops.

I'm about a day away from completing it, though, so at least I get that happy I-finished-something feeling, right?

Here's a promo shot of the kit. http://crossstitchworld.com/cross-stitc ... rdID=43598" target="_blank

I'll put up actual pictures when I've finished it.

What a great idea with an UFO club! Many nice stitching in this thread :D
Maybe I can attend one month, but right now I have some stockings that I have to finnish first.

1st week UFO's seems like a good idea, but I think that is too regimented for me. And just now I am getting close to finishing 2 projects started either in Jan. or Feb. this year. So, I am hoping I don't go off on a tangent and let them both hang. I've brought a UFO to work for break stitching and haven't been at all successful at picking it up and keeping at it. I don't know just what the problem is. Actually, this is my lunch hour now and here I sit forum-ing, not stitching. So, perhaps I'd better go consume my calories before I am back on duty.

I tried to locate some UFO's I remembered... only to find that a couple of them I didn't like at all anymore. Probably it would be better just to get rid of the beginnings and recycle the material :?

But what I would really like to do is to try and finish the half-done Mystical Dragon - using the tip I got here, to put a white cloth under the black Aida. So maybe the UFO Club will motivate me enough.
Am I supposed to work on it during the first week of the month? This is the idea?

I actually pulled a UFO project out and I've been working on it this last week. It's my adobe house project. It's not that old but since I only had backstitching left to do and I HATE doing that I haven't been working on it. So far it actually hasn't been all that bad.

I'm extending my UFO week through tonight because my stitching lamp was out yesterday. I went and bought a new bulb (it's an OTT Lite and those bulbs are expensive  ) and it's still not working. I don't know if I bought a defective bulb or there's some wiring issue with the light. Because of that debacle yesterday I need one more day to finish up the backstitching and I can show everyone the finished project. I'm so excited to be almost done with a project. :D
current project rotation:
Twilight Balloon Flight
The Accolade
Faces of Faery 89
Dad's Flower Pot
