Just to clarify something. Yes, the silly application was in my gmail spam box which never has anything in it.

so finally I checked. Quite an application. Anyway, I now have it out of spam.

Your tree looks beautiful Mrs MBK, I've just joined the SAL and I'm just trying to decide on floss now

Looking forward to seeing everyone's trees as they appear

I'm so glad I mentioned TOS - I just assumed everyone knew about it! With your floss collection Xandra it will be a difficult decision!

This is going to be fun. I hope all of us who are forum members will post updates here also. I am pretty sure I am going to use a 28 ct evenweave sponged (?) fabric I found which I must have bought years ago (If I posted this somewhere else I'm sorry. Hurricane Irene has me a bit flummoxed right now.) I was going to use my DMC stash, but have seen DMC satin floss at Michaels and thought that might be pretty. Okay, I did post this somewhere else (on Mabel's thread maybe), so I guess I should start my own instead of threadjacking everyone else's. I'm sorry. Once I get started I will do that. Anyway, I am looking forward to everyone's updates on this and on the next one when it gets started.

I agree, this is going to be fun to do--I've still got to pick out my threads and fabric--leaning towards evenweave in 28 count, now to pick which one

Here are my updates for the week - first Believe:

And here is Tree Of Stitches parts 5 - 9:

The stitches I've completed are: Rice Stitch, Cushion Stitch, Jerusalem Stitch, Flower Stitch and Norwich Stitch (I used the Woven Cross Stitch option)
Look forward to seeing all the other TOS when they get started!

Both updates are looking gorgeous! I'm still in love with the thread colors on your Tree of Stitches.

Both are gorgeous!
I just made my first post in the Stitch Specialists Forum so hopefully I'll be able to download the TOS soon. Thanks so much for the link.

I have no idea how I'm ever going to be able to do everything I want to do, but oh what a sweet dilemma.

I know about the time issue, Raine. I think I figured out now I have to live (and be able to stitch) until I am at least 115 years old to do everything I want to do and still be able to be a part of the forums!

Wow!! Believe is looking very pretty and sooo colourful. And the TOS is wonderful! I've been staring at the close up pic and saying...ooooooo how do you stitch that one, and aaaaaaah that stitch is interesting!
I would love to attempt TOS one day....but I'm being strict with myself atm, I'm only allowed 3 WIPs at a time or else I'll never get anything completed! So for now I will sit on the magic bench and admire yours and everyone else's who has signed up to do this lovely design.
