Thanks for all the congrats and the "good pick" comments! Destructiveernie was nice enough to let me pick something small off-list since my stitchy time is so limited due to (ironically enough) my kids. So excited to stitch it up and maybe actually have a finish this year! I have an idea for the next bingo and plan to have it up for sign up in the next few days. I admit that I'm absolutely taking inspiration from Emma's awesome idea.

I like your choice and can certainly empathize with you wanting to have one you can actually finish. I look forward to seeing what theme you pick for the next Bingo. To be honest, I'd like to win as much for being able to run the next one as for getting the prize! I've already got ideas on what I'll do if it's ever my turn.

Quick question - what's the best way to post a pic from a website, the way that was done for this last round of Bingo? Do I have to upload everything into my gallery or photobucket, or is there an easier way to insert pics into a thread?

Do you mean something other than one of your own photos? Right? I just tried it and it worked. If you go to the image you want on the website (for eg: at HAED)
right click on the image and then choose "copy image address". click on Img in the choices above the reply box and then paste the image address. It should work. I tried it a few times and it mostly did work. Not sure why it didn't a few times but the preview seems to have been successful.If Emma did something else, I don't know what. She will have to tell us.

Thanks, Carole! Slight problem... I'm not getting any kind of dialogue box after I click "save image location." Any suggestions?

there is no other dialogue. you just click on "copy image address". then come back here to the reply box. click on the Img and you get bracket img bracket bracket slash img bracket (I have to spell it out because i won't show up otherwise. between the 2 middle brackets paste what you just copied.

is that too confusing?


I just tested it again. I click on Img and then I do a "control v" for pasting between the 2 brackets

I'm finding way too many charts testing this out.

Just realized what you are clicking on. Its not save image location. Its copy image address.
I might have given you the wrong thing the first time. sorry about that. I am just learning some of this stuff too. Its a little different on different forums and I get confused.

Once you do it, it isn't confusing. But until it is successful. There is the funniest post between me and several of the expert users on the Apple Support Communities forum, with them trying to explain to me how to do a link in a certain way. I was a much slower learner than you have been.

yeah i did it a different way! Saved the pictures and loaded them to photobucket and copied them from there. Meant i didn't have to search haed each time.
