Part twelve didn't take long. There's just one more mouse. He's encouraging the first one to escape from that owl.
There's also a beetle peeking out from the log. There's another beetle to the far left. He's running off and is almost at the edge of the design. I can't say I'm usually that keen on beetles, or any creepy crawlies, but these weren't too bad. I did them in a bit of left over silk from the same kit as the silk that I did the mice in.
I'm all caught up again now but I suspect that the next part will be available very soon. Can't wait. I'm loving this

This is so pretty and you are doing such a great job. It shows that you love doing it. How many parts are there to the whole design?

It's looking great. And I love the description you put about your stitching. It really made it all come to life

I'm not surprised!! There's so much going on to keep your interest!
Beautiful neat stitching!
I nearly signed up for this one, too but chickened out once I started the TOS!
Seeing yours progress is the next best thing though!

Thank you

I've no idea how many parts it's going to be split into. There's quite a bit more to do - flowers, a sign post, a spider, the moon and more. So much fun

I completely missed part thirteen being released so this is a bit late getting done. I now have flowers in the moonlight though. I've done them in two slightly different off-white shades, using overdyes.
The lower flower is Star stitch and the upper one is Tied Windmill stitch. Both were easy enough to do, but time consuming as I was trying to get the threads to lay flat and parallel, plus I'm a bit obsessive about double-checking to get the placement right. I have just ordered a trolley needle which I'm hoping will speed up and help when it comes to this type of stitch.
I'm just about to start part fourteen so I'll post a pic of the whole thing when I do the next update in a couple of days.

that is lovely. I love both the stitches but the tied windmill is so dainty I really like it a lot.
