Wow, she is just beautiful. I love all the details!
I do have one thought, though. Down here in the "deep south" of the U.S., we call those critters lady
bugs and they are eaten by all the
birds. Isn't it interesting how things have different names wherever you go?

LOL I know exactly what you mean--I think it's what the people on the other side of the pond call them, as I grew up in the midwest (Illinois) and moved to Florida about 19 yrs ago and I always knew them as ladybugs--until I joined a few online sites and started talking with people across the pond.
Thanks for all of the lovely replies--as to getting it framed, I'm not sure when that will be, but I do hope to find something soon to frame her up in

And where I come from we call them "Lieveheersbeestjes", "Our dear Lord's little animals"

Spectacular!!! and I think a genius decision not to do the beads that looped out around her, they always jarred a bit for me and if I ever stitch her that is what I will do as well.
