I added another kitten to the tree. This part is soooo much fun to stitch. Takes forever since it is just about all confetti. It's one of those that as you stitch it's hard to believe (at least for me) that it is actually going to turn into something recognizable and then all of a sudden, there it is. I think that is one of my favorite things about cross stitch! Will probably stick with this one for at least one more kitten and probably for the rest of the page.

Here come the Kitties!!

Thank you for your kind comments! I have to admit that I switched to my Dancing with a Cat and got a few stitches in, and then I get the real kitty, Rosey, and haven't done a stitch since then. Between our recent "kerfuffle" and Rosey, my stitchy bug decided a vacation was needed, but he did send a postcard to tell me he is on the way back home. Hope to have an update on that one soon.

Great update, lovely

Only over a little 2 years ago since I last picked this one up. Several samplers (marriage and birth) and projects later I couldn't stand all the meows coming from the drawer where this one was waiting, more patiently than most kittens would, I picked it up. To be honest I wasn't sure I could even figure out how to begin because most of the grid lines had faded and there is so much confetti in this design, but I was able to regrid and get a few stitches in. Not sure if the update looks any different than the last photo I posted, but have to start somewhere and this will keep me motivated. My plan is to finish this page and/or row of pages and then go back to a few other projects, until another marriage and/or birth sampler is required.

I know exactly what you mean -- same problem with Christmas Fairy... Excellent to get it out, stop the meowing, and put in a few stitches. This is going to be super!

How could you resist the Cries From the Drawer!!

It is difficult though after a long break to 'find your place' on the chart!

Love that you started work on this fun pattern again. Seeing kitties come to life must provide motivation.
