I just finished reading through most of this thread. I love the detail of this piece. You mentioned when you first started posting how much you liked confetti. I do wonder, do you still love confetti? Personally, some days I love confetti, but other days I just need to see some progress so I look for big blocks of color.

Thank you for sharing. I can't wait to see how you choose to finish it.

Thank you to all for your lovely compliments! It's such a weird feeling to have this thing done. Last stitch went in and I went "What do I do with all my time now??" (I think I'm going to take up crochet for a bit before starting another BAP cross-stitch.)

AlwaysGoofy -- Yep, I still love confetti. ;) The only place that wasn't confetti in this piece are the trees -- they're a mix of 3371 (dark brown) and black. Maybe the little bits of sky at the top, too...but those happened a long time ago! They definitely stitched up quick, but I just find it more interesting and engaging if I have to change out threads all the time. Call me crazy.

I don't think it's crazy at all. Most of us find something therapeutic about our stitching, and that's why we stitch. We don't all have to enjoy the same aspect of it. I'll drool over anyone's stitchy pictures no matter what they love about stitching. :D

Oh WOW that is lovely. Congratulations on a beautiful design so nearly stitched and great framing too. Has your feline friend made friends with it yet? He/she doesn't look too sure about it. :D :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: :whoop:
