Here's a wedding card, done for young friends who married last Saturday. Rainbow Gallery silks (boy are they twisted!) and Kreinik v.fine braid. Design is a variation of my own.

Yeah, it was a bit tight, I thought, but there it is. Next time, I'll try using 28ct instead of 25ct, perhaps? :D

That would give it a bit of "breathing space", I suppose, but actually I really like the tight fit - it works on this one!

Serinde that's beautiful :applesauce:

I've completed one of two strawberry jam labels which will be gifts for two friends. My boyfriend has made the jam and I've made the cross stitch labels so they get a gift of sorts from the two of us ;)

Love the label! Can you retrieve it once the jam is finished, wash and reuse? (Might try something like that using vinyl aida.)

And here's another one -- graduates of Durham University, hence the purple. Between all the algerian eyes there are little clear beads. When in the card (don't suppose you can really see it here) the holes appear black (that's the other Durham colour, but inappropriate, I thought, for weddings!!). It's almost entirely Caron Iris on 25t. (Not such a tight fit this time!)

Edit later: I didn't say that the groom considers himself to be a Scot (quite rightly) and so the central figure is also a St Andrews cross -- the Scottish Saltire. Clever, eh?
