Anticipation is a wonderful thing, and what a character Stuffy already exhibits. Perhaps the recipient can help with the framing choice?

That would drive both my framer & I nuts Serinde. Much easier to leave him out of that stage of events. :) PS He is (or was) a Master Builder and now teaches at a TAFE college near his home. He takes apprentices through the paperwork stages of their becoming a qualified builder. :)

Greetings All I thought it was about time I put in an update as it is several months and a whole new vocabulary since the last one. This designer is totally nuts. I am currently working in an area that has 3 different white threads AND it is an almost white area of course. It is now away again until next week sometime. Hopefully here is a photo.

Thank you for looking :D :D

I adore this one! He is so adorable and you are stitching this perfectly. I appreciate How hard it can be to have 3 different shades of white in the same area and why you need to take a break. My current sampler has threads that are very close in shades of beige, being stitched on a very pale ecru. Taking a break myself to give my eyes a rest. Looking forward to your next update, though, since this is one of the “makes me smile” projects. :D

Cute little paws! Stuffy is adorable: you are stitching him beautifully.
Three types of white is pretty crazy, I agree. Not long until the finish though... :)

I am now working solely in the last 1/4 of the design - thank heavens the confetti parts are not evident on the chart so I should make better progress - at least until I get to the b/s which looks very challenging and may well be edited.

Thank You for looking

Nearly there...keep at it, Sally! :applesauce: :applesauce:

As for the back stitch, when I finished Pamela Puffin I did quite a bit of my own interpretation. Unless you have the chart right next to the finished picture, and who does that??, no one one will ever know.

Really looking good and I agree with Wendy, editing the bs makes sense to me. I don't do much these days, but when I did, I often found that all that was on the chart, was not all that was really needed.

Thank You all for your kind comments. Wendy I have no intention of following the b/s chart except around the feet hands and biscuit. The rest will be as I feel like it. :)

What an amazing little picture. Just makes you want to smile. Beautifully done. The back stitch on those ones is daunting, but I think it adds character and also to the fuzzy feeling you get when looking at it.

But I'm sure what you'll do will look great.

Regards,

Richard.
