I love my niece, I got her to smile a bit when I visited. It felt amazing! She is my niece AND my god-daughter.

And thanks for the encouragement on my project. It is my most tedious project as of yet. I'll need some pushing!!

It's been a *long* while but my stitchy bug is back so I have a new update on my progress. Here's 2 pictures, complete with my big baby bump. It's hard to sit comfortably & stitch with that bump in the way but I don't mind so much.

Nice stitching and your 'bump' is beautiful. Just keep reminding yourself what it holds.

Thank you, ladies! I have been doing lots of housework but have been walking back & forth past that project all day, so I think I may get some more progress on it soon!!

Just popping in to say hello! I've been MIA for so long-- I'm not even sure how long, do you even remember me?-- but so much has changed in my life. I think I am finally getting *settled* in our place. We moved away for DH's job, had our baby, moved back for DH's NEW job, and now we are in a nice sized house that we are renting. I grew up in this area- and honestly?- I don't like it. But we have a lot of space and DH has a great job with actual benefits , so that's the way things are right now. I recently learned to sew (using a machine) so when I'm not chasing my toddler daughter around or taking care of the house, I'm working on one of my many crafty hobbies. Just last weekend we rearranged things and now I have my very own room for all of my creative outlets! I now sew, cross stitch, and do crazy nail art! (I've really gotten into nail polish and I have 295 polishes!) I do all sorts of designs. Now that I've gotten settled in our new place and have a dedicated room for all my fun stuff, I really would like to get back into cross stitch, if I can find the time, that is! I missed you all, hope everybody is doing well. Can't wait to browse through and see the pretty creations!

Welcome back! You have most definitely been busy and the absolutely adorable picture of your precious little girl is certainly proof of what takes up much of the time. Sounds like life is busy and good which is wonderful. It is so good to hear from you. I, for one, remember you as I am sure others will. Looking forward to seeing your projects (remember we have an "other crafts" forum) when you get started on crafts again.

Thank you ladies! Speaking of other crafts-- I forgot to mention I made the dress she is wearing in that photo! The first item of clothing I've ever 'made!'
I pulled out all of my WIPs last night and am trying to decide which one to work on for now. I also *gulp* printed out the floss usage charts for my HAED that I never started. 19 skeins of black?! Oh dear... but I don't want to start that one until I can better understand how to use my scroll frame.
