It looks brilliant! As for your transfer cable issues, I'm pretty sure your camera has a removable memory card of some sort. Just get yourself a compatible card reader. You can stick the memory card into the reader and attach the reader to your pc (usually USB). Below, I've provided an example of a memory card reader. I've found that you can easily get in under $10.

I finally picked up a card reader and am now able to do picture transfers! yay!!
