We have an artist in Australia who cuts out black paper and pastes it onto white to create silhouette portraits - he has been around longer than I've been alive and does an amazing job.

He did my silhouette for free when I was a little girl because he said it was so unique (he did three or four of them and gave me one and kept the others). He also did my Dad for free because he said Dad looked like Jesus =} Since then I've bought one of myself older and my sister.

I think your monochromes are quite remarkable, very beautiful =}
