I think I will be joining in too, I'd like to stitch a couple of kell's designs and maybe give one of mabel's hardanger pieces a go! I'll get back to you with my choices a bit later.

I might have to join this, but... we'll have to see. With how things normally go with me, I'd probably not even finish one of them. <_<;

Great idea, and I applaud the brave people who are taking it up, but I think like Serinde I'll watch from the sideline and cheer you on

I'm having serious trouble resisting the urge to get started early - my lovely box of goodies is sitting by the sofa, taunting me!

I know what you mean, I've finished kitting most of it up now (had to put in a sneaky order with sewandso for some fabric and floss for two of them though), just need to decide on my last project and motifs for 3 of the others. Too much choice.
Here are mine so far anyway, they are also posted on my blog with pictures where possible
1. ‘Jungle Scamp’ by Maria Diaz from Cross Stitch Collection February 2010)
2. KISS cushion by Emily Peacock
3. A cross stitched wall hanging mail organizer (is there a better name for them?) My mom wanted one so I’ve found an alphabet I liked along with some motifs.
4. Blackwork Lady from WOXS Summer 2010
5. Baby Panda by Pollyanna Pickering from Cross Stitch Collection June 2010
6. Mini- Wedding sampler
Stitching a freebie heart, and adding their names and date inside it. It will be late though as the happy couple are getting married in a couple of hours
7. All you Need Is Love by Lizzie*Kate
8. Snowflake biscornu by Faby Reilly – Decided I want to do a Basket of Biscornus this year so it’s a good a time as an to get started.
9. 2011 Christmas Ornament
The Sampler Girl - Christmas Eve Flight Freebie
10. Tranquil Valley by PINN Stitch
11. Sleepy Hollow by Raise the Roof Designs
12. 2011 Birthday Cards – will try and do better this year with cards out at the right time etc.
First up, hubby’s birthday I’m thinking xbox controller mini sampler
13. Time for God by Lizzie*Kate - I'm copying Mabel and doing this as a bookmark for my sister-in-laws mum who will be 60 in February.
14. Hot water bottle cover – will be stitching this straight on to fleece using waste canvas. Using a few different monochrome motifs
15. En attendant l'été by Solo Brode
ETA: Changes to some of the project and more info on others

I've already chosen my 15 projects! I'm definitely hoping that this would be a great start on my 2011 xstitching since I've been so much stressed at work during the last quarter of 2010. So, here we go:
1. Friendship - an Ellen Maurer Stroh freebie design
2. Little Christmas Tree - a freebie design, too.
3. All That Glitters - one of the designs from Fast & Fabulous Christmas Cards from
CrossStitcher Magazine. These two (#2 & #3) should have been stitched up
for this Christmas 2010 but haven't got the chance so, I'm making up for it.
4. My Cup of Tea - a Margaret Sherry design, pattern given to me by Kell (thanks!)
5. Fishing Cat - a Margaret Sherry design, pattern from Kell again!
6. Make a Wish - a Margaret Sherry design, a free kit from the CrossStitcher mag.
7. Blooming Seasons - a San-Man Originals freebie
8. Seasons - a San-Man Originals freebie
9. Butterfly Blackwork - A Battybat design
10. Metro - a blackwork design from Wyrdbyrd
11. Forest For The Trees - a blackwork design from Wyrdbyrd
12. Butterflies & Buddleias - from the World of CrossStitching mag, pattern given to
me by Mabel (thanks!)
13. Butterfly Solo - a monogram butterfly design from Passione Ricamo
14. Faith, Hope & Imagination - a DMC butterflies' design
15. Blue Butterfly - another freebie design

Yikes! I've signed up and started a blog to record it all (link in my sig)
Here are my choices (not in order!):
1) HAED SAL - Blue Rose Fairy
I signed up for this SAL on the Heaven and Earth Designs Bulletin Board which is due to be completed this year, just waiting on my fabric so hope it turns up soon!
2) Bog Off sampler by Kell
Love Kell's subversive designs, I'm stitching 2 of them as part of this challenge
3) Blackwork Robot - my own design
I've wanted to give blackwork a go for a while now and made a little robot design which I hope will become a nice bookmark once finished.
4) Super Mario Brothers sampler - my own design
Bit of a geek here so can't wait to get going on this one!
5) Buzzing Around Biscornu - Barbara Ana Designs
Barbara Ana is one of my fave designers at the moment, cute and colourful, and lots of biscornus!
6) One Drink Woman by Kell
This *needs* to be on my kitchen wall
7) Whatever - Subversive Cross Stitch (Julie Jackson)
A little piece for my desk in work hehe!
8 ) At the Bottom of the Garden - Cross Stitcher December 2010
Gorgeous little toadstool pin cushion which I'd really like to stitch
9) A bib for my friend's new baby, not decided on a motif yet!
10) Beatrix Potter Growth Chart
Need to order my fabric for this one, hoping it will be a 1st birthday pressie for the above mentioned baby!
11) Beyond Cross Stitch - Rhodes Stitch - The Victoria Sampler
12) Beyond Cross Stitch - Scotch Stitch - The Victoria Sampler
13) Beyond Cross Stitch - Rice Stitch - The Victoria Sampler
I bought these three little kits years ago at a show so that I could learn some new techniques and never stitched them so I thought this challenge would be the perfect opportunity!
14) Hardanger Frame Kit - DMC
Never tried hardanger before but seeing Mabel's work really inspired me to give it a go, bought this kit at the same time as the Victoria Sampler ones so time to get it done and out of my stash!
15) Owlscornu - Barbara Ana Designs
Cute cute cute! and owls are my favourite
phew!

Okay! I've decided on my projects. Some stash and some excellent charts from other members and I designed a bookmark myself. We'll see how that one turns out. I'll get a blog started soon to get pics of everything, but here's my list in no particular order.

2. Super Mario sampler by carladee
3. spiral fractal by skitzz
4., 5. 2 flower coasters free chart by the Cross Stitchers Club
6. Yellow submarine chart from Pinoy stitch

8. Angelic Melody Gold Collection by Dimensions
9. Tiger by Janlynn
10. Hummingbird and Morning Glories Gold Collection Petites by Dimensions
11. a self-designed bookmark with "Dovie'andi se toyva sagain" with some dice from my favourite book series The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan/Brandon Sanderson

It is really hard. It's all just sitting there, waiting, saying "open me first!" "Me first!"
I broke down and starting your "one drink woman" sampler for a friend!

I have a very strong feeling that I won't be able to keep up with this, but I do have some projects that actually need to be finished as well as started, so my list is a mixture of both. Here it goes:
1) Dragon Model (about 1/3 of the way done, but definitely a priority to finish for designer)
2) eagle and bible verse for DS's first communion in May--started, but having hard time finding motivation
3) HAED Light of the World Storykeep--first page is gridded
4) HAED Dragon Luck Storykeep--few hundred stitches done
5) HAED Curl up with a good book QS
6) Dimension Gold Silent Flight--started with a few hundred stitches
7) A Stitch a Week SAL--almost done, only have a few squares to finish
8.) Castles in the Air--only on part 3 or 4
9) HAED QS Dragonflies
10) Finish machine sewing DS's curtains (I know, not cross stitch)
11) Finish machine sewing DD's curtains
12 - 15) 24 ornaments for the dates on an advent calendar (one is done except backstitch and another one started)
