Hi and welcome from outside the metro Phx area You have done so much on the Enchantress it would be a shame not to finish, plus with the weather being the way it is this week is the perfect time to stay in and stitch.

Stitichiemom: Thank you and yes this weather we are having is perfect for stitching and doing laundry all day and doing some cleaning.

But news update I have been working diligently on her I finished up the aqua colour that she has on her jacket and doing some background colour I will post an update pick either later today or tomorrow and then another at the end of this week so you all can see. I think it is jsut getting over a certain hump that I have been feeling with her so we will see by changing to work on a different area with her will help. Also too I have been really invovled with this new t.v. show called "Modern Family" and I have been watching it online and stitching at the same time.

I did a little of the background... actually I only did one colour and that is the purple but I did finish the aqua colour. Just one question... Uhh does anyone know how to make the thread last longer for a kit, because I ran out of the purple colour and also 3 maybe 4 of the other colours.... This is one reason why I hate kits.. grrr.

Sorry to say that some kits are just that way. They skimp on the thread, not sure why. You can write to the company and request the thread that is missing. Others on the forum have had this problem, they contact the company/designer an get replacement threads.

Great progress Brandon - she is so beautiful! I have her in my stash, but was hoping to find the discontinued HAED version instead - so far, no luck... But maybe I'll reconsider after seeing your girl!

Here is an update on my Enchantress. Actually interesting I was showing it off to a friend of mine and he asked me if I ever make mistakes. I answered "Yea rarely do I ever make a mistake, I count and then double check/triple check, so making a mistake wont happen" Guess what I miss counted while doing the light purple colour and I had to remove some of it and I ran out of that colour as well.... This is not my favourite project and I am thinking of just buying another and using those colours if I keep running out. I have experienced this once before from this company and I stayed away but I really wanted this one. I am just working at it slowly, it wil be done within the next 5 years. haha.

Shame about the ing -- but however long she takes she's definitely worth it, it's a beautiful design!
