I'm actually really pleased with the size of it. It's not a massive work box or anything, but it is big enough to hold a fair bit. Here's the inside, complete with thread...I've started winding them onto bobbins now, they did all come as skiens.
I thought so. That's why I left them where they were. Sorted into three nice and handy piles. The one on the lid is threads I didn't have (bobbin included) 1 pile is where I only had 1 of that colour and the other pile is ones I have coming out of my ears
Oh you've all got some lovely stash here!
Love that box Angel ... oh, and congratulations on your engagement! Just catching up still here, so a bit belated, sorry!

Thread creative stash packs HERE.
(choose from mixed perle, mixed stranded cotton, mixed silk, or creative which has a mix of all 3 I think - I chose mixed silks).
Polstitches have such beautiful products that this is a great way to sample them. The only problem I have is that with the fabric grab bags, they don't label what anything is, so you have to have a look at the site and guess which one yours is based on which picture it looks most like.

I'm still waiting for the magazine I ordered with it to arrive mind...
I was given a subscription to Cross Stitcher Magazine for Xmas and I think this is the gift I'll be getting with it (I hope so, anyway!). Still waiting for the first issue and the gift to arrive though - apparently I should be getting the mag from this month...
As I came home from Sweden, two lovely gifts awaited me: a bag of tea from Freelady, to help me sleep better and a New Stitches magazine from Jilly
Thank you very much to both of you.

The postman brought me this book yesterday, Jane Austen's Sewing Box with craft projects from her books. Haven't had a change to look in it properly, but can't wait to do some projects
