The opalescent linen is great, it has the "traditional" feel of raw linen with the festiveness of the sparkle -- perfect!

I had to get them separately, from two different websites, as 1-2-3 Stitch was cheapest but didn't have all 12 in stock.

Thought you might like to see my progress ...
Tiger continues apace (I really want him done now and out the way!!). Only a bit of the background at the top to do and the last whole page.

And the first of the '7 Days of Christmas' is done too. The design is deceptive, there's more stitching to that little design than first appears. There are a couple of beads to add too but I'll them all together at the end.

I also finished the needlecraft set for my friend, but I posted pics of those in the Mini Projects thread.

The swan is lovely and I just LOVE the tiger...I don't have any tiger WIPs myself but really want to stitch one someday!!

Lovely updates, you're steaming along on the tiger! The swan is very pretty too, looking forward to seeing the next square.

Good progress on the tiger, and the first little vignette has come out beautifully, but I can well believe there's a lot of stitching in there!
