The opalescent linen is great, it has the "traditional" feel of raw linen with the festiveness of the sparkle -- perfect!

Did you have to purchase them seperately or did they come as a set?

Thought you might like to see my progress ...
Tiger continues apace (I really want him done now and out the way!!). Only a bit of the background at the top to do and the last whole page.
And the first of the '7 Days of Christmas' is done too. The design is deceptive, there's more stitching to that little design than first appears. There are a couple of beads to add too but I'll them all together at the end.
I also finished the needlecraft set for my friend, but I posted pics of those in the Mini Projects thread.

The tiger is very dramatic and stunning! The Christmas stitchery is lovely; very pretty fabric too!

The swan is lovely and I just LOVE the tiger...I don't have any tiger WIPs myself but really want to stitch one someday!!

Good progress on the tiger, and the first little vignette has come out beautifully, but I can well believe there's a lot of stitching in there!

Your san looks great!!!! Just cause it is small does not mean easy or quick. Tiger is getting right along.
