Re: Kat's stitching
Thanks for the encouragement!
I've managed to do a little bit each night after work so I'm getting into a bit of a routine with it, rather than trying to grab blocks of time here and there.

Re: Kat's stitching
I've had a very busy couple of days and haven't been able to get even a few stitches in. However, I do have the whole weekend off so I intend to catch up with all the lost time.
I'll post an update picture then so I can compare the results
Am also very happy as I got myself some stitchy stuff from sew & so which I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of

Progress Report:
I'm taking a break from this project to do a smaller one for my Grandma's birthday in March but here is where I am currently at.

I bought myself a couple of snap frames recently and have found this so much easier to handle and stitch with it being quite large. It's also doing much less damage to my aida. I'm hoping to finish up my smaller project quite quickly and then I can get back to this one.

Re: Kat's stitching
Well, I've nearly finished my gift for Grandma but I only have the backstitching to do, so I'm putting it off. I did a lot of it as I was going along but I can't work up the enthusiasm to just do the last bit.
I'll post a pic when I finally do manage it
and then I can get back to my lovely angel.

Here's what I've been working on the last few weeks. Finally managed to finish it and frame it.

Looking forward to picking up the original piece again now.
