Thanks everyone for your comments, and Karen, go for it, it is a relaxing and enjoyable design to stitch, would love to see your colour choice(s) if you do!

LOL okay, you've twisted my arm, I've printed the chart up--now just need to go thru my stash and sort out what fabric and thread to use--I so want to use one of my carrie threads ones

Good choice as they (or at least the ones I had) are longer than some of the other brands so you shouldn't run out :) Look forward to seeing your fabric choice too, and piccies!

hadn't thought about the floss usage, do you know about how many yards you used? Mine are 8 yd of 6 strands and what count fabric did you use?

I used 2 strands on 14ct aida and I would estimate it used about 6 yards of 6 strand floss - you should be fine with 8 yards even allowing for cutting some threads short for continuation of colour change :) (This was not necessary with my Dragon Floss as the floss ended in the same colour it began but the Carrie's Creations thread did not)

Thanks for the info Johanna--I've found some nice ice blue aida in 16 count and I'm going with Carrie's Tropical Storm--should be interesting

I posted this on the other forum but adding an updated pic to my SAL thread. This is Landscape Silhouette 1 from Artecy.com

Really enjoying this one, am sure when I get back to finishing the larger blocks on the bridge I will find it a little tedious but so far so good! lol
