I use PC stitch to do my charting.... very easy program to use. I'll keep you posted about the "star ****" all depends what I choose to do next. lol

If you do decide to go with the French knots, you could add variation by making some with one strand, others with 2 or 3. Looking forward to this one!

I think there is a "PC stitch reader" for free on the net you can download for your PC.
If so let me know and I could do up a chart for you in the program and send you the chart file for free via email.

All mine does though is crosses. No fancy stitches. You also have to state what size/point aida cloth you want to do it on (bigger size is better). Usually 50 colours are used for good detail but can state more if you want. Less makes it look less detailed and icky.

Ooooooh! That is so cool. Just the thought of stitching the Enterprise is great but that is a wonderful picture you have.
