Thank you. I found it very liberating not to have to refer to a chart and to just keep sewing, that was a change from my tiger which I have to look at every few stitches and change colour every few stitches too.

Updating my Tiger's progress.


I hemmed my hardanger piece a couple of weeks ago. I went wrong on one side, the bottom as you look at it.I do know what I did, so, hopefully it won't be a mistake repeated. I will hem my next piece with this method . It is very neat and a pretty finish.

I think the tiger is simply stunning! I know you said it's tiresome to look at the chart every few stitches, but surely worth the effort. He's magnificent.

And as for the rose! What a truly lovely idea for your friend. I will really enjoy watching that come together.

And love the Hardanger too, esp impressed you charted it yourself. And I agree, satin stitches are SO strokable!!

This is my last update, the next picture will be the finished project it is difficult to see all the little bits left to do,there is still a bit of confetti to finish and a few french knots with five strands, I may find those a bit easier to do than the usual two strand fn, I hope so
