Volia !!!!! It is finished! Well, the stitching part is finished! Now to decide how I want to do the finishing part.

I am still waiting for the "See Anything Yet" by Peter Underhill to arrive at my mailbox. That is my favorite meerkats design.

Oh they are both great but the bigger design is gorgeous. I can just see that on a marbled sand effect fabric!
I'm watching Meercat manor with my youngest. He's collecting the dvd's.
We love meercats.
There's nothing better than a good friend, except a good friend with CHOCOLATE!

My mother has asked me to stitch her a bookmark for her Mother's Day gift. I have decided to make a meerkat bookmark since we both like "Meerkats". The meerkat is long and narrow, just right for a bookmark. I am stitching from top to bottom due to the fact that the chart is full of factional stitches, squashed , narrow, top , side, etc.... so to avoid making mistakes, I am stitching one row at a time. It is being stitched on 28 ct white, evenweave with DMC threads. I hope to finished the bookmark before end of April.
