So here's another update, I'm working on Catherine of Aragon's dress at the moment:



This kit seems to be missing one of the embroidery floss colors entirely - the one used to do the backstitching on the face. Since it's DMC, I probably have it in my stash somewhere, but a bit irritating nevertheless.

Evelyn, please do try to add a picture, would love to see your progress!

Excellent progress. I like the idea of stitching the backstitch as you go along, that's what I do now as well.

Hi alinna,it's looking good.

I forgot to ask my daughters to take a photo of mine & add it to the thread,we had such a busy day with so many sitting down to Sunday dinner etc,I never got round to using the computer,hopefully next time our daughter comes over.

I did want to ask you a question re the picture that comes with the kit.
I have almost completed Henry having reached the hemline of his tunic,& something is not right with my copy!
Just above the hemline there is a "wavy" line that runs across the front,on the chart the symbol for that line shows the colour to be Gold,however in the picture that comes with the kit that wavy line is definately shown as being BLUE!!
Would you please have a look at your copy & see if it is the same as mine.
I have done my line in gold as the chart shows but I don't care for it,& it wasn't until I looked at the picture I notice there is a differnce.

Lovely, luscious colours for the two Catherines at the front. The whole thing will look spectacular when finished.
But I can't help thinking that if all those wives had actually met together like that, the feathers might have flown a bit!
