Crossstitchforum - A FREE forum for Cross Stitchers

I recently started a blog at the suggestion of a friend to help me cope with my husband's cancer. It has a lot of my stitching, because stitching is helping me stay sane, and other bits about things that inspire me, comfort me, or help me cope and stay optimistic. I listen to the playlist I created for it all the time when I'm stitching. I'm amazed at how much music is helping me deal with this difficult time. I called it The Ravell'd Sleave of Care inspired by a Shakespeare quote. I'd love any support any of you may have to offer in coping with cancer.

One is for my cross stitch, focusing on things I design myself, so it's a very slow moving one, especially at the moment as I'm working on wedding things and my own designs have been put on hold for the moment.

I love blogging and reading others as well. I find its a great way to find inspiration and you never know what ideas you will come across. Its also a terrific way to keep track of the wonderful projects I've done. As some of them have been presents once they've left me I don't see them again.

I very recently started blogging again, this time focusing mostly on my stitching. I previously had a blog that I updated for my family for over 2 years, but just couldn't keep up with it much anymore.

Does anyone know what's going on with blogspot.com? Haven't been able to acces it for a day, and I can see that other were complaining about it earlier.

I am thinking of looking for another free blogging place Don't know if it is a good thing right now when my visitors' number has just increased profoundly.

The site was down yesterday, for a while, Agi, for maintenance. I have had no trouble getting on my blog since then though.

What's wrong? Well, it's blogspot I often hear from people that they have problems with blogspot. Especially the people using rss-feed-readers complain about it. But usually everything is fine again after a few days. So don't worry, it will be fine again. Remember, it can always be worse. It could be Myblog (I think there no more Myblog blogs I read because all the people changed to another)

I'm having the same issue! I was able to put up a new post yesterday, but today it's not showing. I can't sign in because it says that Blogger is currently down. Nothing new. I just hope they fix it soon!

Nice thread. I wasn't entirely sure I should post mine since it isn't about stitching. But I see I can.

My blog address is in my signature. It is about books & reading. Most of the books tend to be YA because I teach 5th grade.

I am going to spend some time with these cross stitching blogs. They look very interesting and informative.

Yay for another book blogger! I love YA too. Currently reading Shine by Lauren Myracle, so good! I will check out your blog!

Blogger Update -- Looks like they've fixed the problem and we are able to sign in now! Still waiting for them to restore the posts they took down, though. Hopefully they can get that worked out!

kutekitty1981.livejournal.com is mine. It's not really "about" anything - and I go in real fits and starts about posting anything on there! There is a certain amount of stitching, but there's also general ramblings about my life, my cats, my friends, my family, my job... I tried blogger but really didn't get on with it, so I stick with LJ
