Nice progress! I think it's fun that you do this while watching Formula 1 only!

Really good progress. :applesauce: I can't imagine stitching and watching a car race. However do you not lose track of your count? (no pun intended)

I do the bits that need counting during the talking before the race and leave the easy filling in bits for the actual race when I need to keep looking at the TV. That's the plan, anyway

I didn't get much done during the Canadian GP as I only stitched during the qualifying and the race itself. I'm off work this week and I've taken it into my head that I should do some spring cleaning, so over the weekend I was sorting out the bedroom. Not as much fun as stitching, but very necessary.

But, as the race was red-flagged for around two hours, I did get some work done on this so I think you can just about tell now that that grey blob on the left is a tyre. A wet tyre of course, because what else would it be after that very soggy race :D

It's getting there, and I have high hopes of finishing, or almost finishing the first page during the European GP in just over a week.
Thanks for looking :)

Looking great! I wondered if you'd get a bunch done since the race was red-flagged. At least there weren't any gophers on the track this year.

What a great design to stitch while you're watching F1! I love these charicatures of cars and other vehicles. Looking forward to the next update.

Well, I didn't quite finish the first page, which was the plan, but I am happy with the progress, especially as it's starting to look like something other than a grey blob. I've also strayed into page two as it just didn't feel right leaving some bits half done, so that'll speed that page up a bit. (there are only four pages)
I'm hoping he'll have a better race at Silverstone now he has most of a helmet and can therefore see where he's going

I also got very excited stitching the V & O of Vodafone on the spoiler. It doesn't take much

Thanks for looking.
