I finished!!! I need some more practice with back stitching (my poor humming bird has a pot belly, lol!) and I hate french knots.
You will see I removed the light blue half stitching that was on this previously. I just didn't like the way it looked and didn't want it on the rest of the piece.
Im excited to move on to my next project!

It looks lovely! I like the pure white background; the design looks cleaner and brighter this way, I think. (I'm also not crazy fond of half cross stitch, haha. I had to buy more thread today because I ignored the directions on my kit and used up all of my green on full crosses.)

Lovely finish! I still mess up on backstitching at times even if I've done several projects that have it, but it does get better with time! I personally think it's really nicely done.
